SAFETY TIPS >>
1. Effect of overload on stopping distance

Overloading also affects the stopping distance adversely. At same speed, vehicle with overload will:

  • increase the stopping distance as brakes will take more time to
    react.
  • have more kinetic energy which will drag the vehicle for a longer
    distance.

This is the main reason when a loaded truck or bus takes more time & distance to stop & are more risky.

2. Tilting of 2W is necessary
While turning a 2W, the driver should tilt in the direction of turn to balance the centrifugal force. More the speed, higher the tilt.
